Corrections and Limitations
Baseball records contain gaps and rule changes; Statgami publishes the important ones instead of hiding them.
Known limits
The main corpus begins in 1897. Play-by-play, pitch-sequence and Statcast coverage begin later and vary in completeness. Negro League records are included where MLB-recognized major-league records are available. Some current-season rows do not yet have a Retrosheet game identifier or ballpark join.
No-hitters
Single-pitcher and combined no-hitters are counted separately. The perfect-game total in the regular-season corpus excludes the events from 1880 that predate the corpus and excludes postseason play.

Confirmed errors are corrected in the underlying builder or index, not only in page copy. Material corrections should be noted here with the affected URL and correction date.
